Peter Jacobsen
Senior Vice President – Brokerage
This week, The Woodmont Company would like to Spotlight Peter Jacobsen, Senior Vice President. Since his 2008 Woodmont debut, Peter’s career has grown exponentially. Starting as a Development Analyst, Peter has since moved into a development partner role with “primary responsibilities for site selection and key/anchor project leasing. He was recently “recognized as one of the top 20 commercial developers in North Texas,” by the Dallas Business Journal.
He thrives in the entrepreneurial environment and attributes his favorite Woodmont memory to the day his first development was closed. When asked to describe the experience Peter explained that the project “was a longtime goal of mine and I had to overcome many setbacks to achieve success.”
Peter’s momentum continues, and he is currently working diligently on several ground-up and redevelopment opportunities in North Texas and Oklahoma. He is very enthusiastic about his involvement in the Crockett Row (formerly West-7th) project, located at University and 7th Street, in the Cultural District of Fort Worth, Texas. The six city-block project has provided The Woodmont Company the opportunity to initiate the repositioning, rebranding and architectural re-visioning processes of the area. The goal of the project is to create the platform to re-position and stabilize West-7th as the premier mixed-use regional shopping, dining and entertainment destination within the true urban core of Tarrant County.
Peter winds down from his busy career by mountain biking, running, playing guitar and (most of all) traveling! On his days off, one would definitely catch Peter spending time with family in DFW and adoring his new son.
