EXPERTISE
Ian O’Connor is a sales professional who joined the team as a brokerage associate in June 2021 and completed his first industrial deal with Woodmont in August of that year. Throughout his career he has continually met and exceeded targets as he is persistent in his quest to create new business. Having a background in corporate sales, he understands how to initiate, manage, and close complex deals and prides himself in his ability to create new relationships.
EXPERIENCE
Ian O’Connor began his career working in the underground utilities market as a sales management trainee and changed paths after successfully opening a completely new sales territory for the company in West Texas. After his time in underground utilities, he enrolled at the University of Texas at Arlington to pursue his MBA while simultaneously working for a family business selling products to the largest retailers in the world, Walmart and Sam’s Club. After completing his MBA, he worked in software sales and was eventually recruited away by a marketing company to run a national sales division with an annual budget of over $30,000,000. During his time managing an 80+ person sales marketing team, he also oversaw his family’s industrial assets in Michigan and orchestrated the largest deal in that market sector to date. After the completion of the Michigan deal, he was bitten by the real estate bug and the rest is history as shortly after he joined the Woodmont Team.
