Vice President of Mall and Outlet Leasing

This week, The Woodmont Company would like to Spotlight Dan Thompson, Vice President of Mall and Outlet Leasing. Dan joined the Woodmont Company team earlier this year and attributes his initial interest to the longevity of the company, stating that “being active for over 30 years in our business is impressive these days.”

Since joining Woodmont, Daniel considers his favorite experience to be the Annual Company Event held at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens in April. This companywide event provided Dan with the opportunity to get to know his colleagues in a “unique and informative way.” Taking place at the Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth, the Annual Event is a yearly team building meeting that truly creates “comradery within the entire Woodmont Family.”

Daniel believes The Woodmont Company is a great fit for him, because he enjoys the “family environment” where “team is the most important word.” He currently works of out the Florida office where he focuses on leasing malls and outlets while “increasing Woodmont’s presence in the Florida market.”

Daniel is excited about a recent opportunity to lease Oviedo Mall in Orlando, which has recently been “re-positioned to become a dominator in its region.” When Dan can tear himself away from the leasing world, one would likely catch him watching college football with friends and family or traveling!
